NARVIE J. HARRIS HEALTH AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION





The Health and Physical Educators at Narvie J. Harris Traditional Theme School are excited about helping to develop the student’s physical, mental, and social skills.
Rhonda Floyd-Turner has been at Narvie J. since its inception. Coach Turner has lived and been involved with the community her whole life. A product of DeKalb County School Systems, Coach Turner works tirelessly to make sure that Narvie has the best that health and physical education can provide. Coach Turner has coached soccer for North Atlanta High School, the YMCA, and various church organizations.
Bruce Johnson joined Narvie J. Harris Traditional Theme School in 2003. Coach Johnson has been a health and physical educator for 23 years. He has held positions at Towers High School, Sky Haven Elementary School, and schools in Dallas, Texas. We welcome his experience and expertise in health and wellness at our school.
J. Sebastian Anderson is the newest member
of the health and physical education department.
He is a product of Dekalb County Schools. He has been an educator for 20 years or more. He has worked for Hamiltom County Schools; Chattanooga Tn, Atlanta Public Schools, and Dekalb County Schools. Coach Anderson is a Certified National Trainer for Health and Physical Education. He is enthusiastic, very energetic, and feels that students should be moving at times. He brings fresh ideas to the program and is a welcomed addition to the department.
